Even the freshly made ice cubes are having an odd taste to them. Any idea of what is causing it and how to fix it? My tap water does not have this taste. Thanks.

You can add an in-line water filter if your ice maker doesn't have one. If your ice maker has a filter, it probably needs changing.

My sister-in-law had a similar problem (tasted a bit like machine oil) and Sears said to change the refrigerator's water filter. The refrig dispensed water and ice through the door and the icemaker water line went through the water filter. She changed the filter and the taste went away!
