I have a 4 inch memory foam mattress pad, and I love it. It took me a day or two to get used to it. It is very firm feeling to the touch, but once you lie down, it just cradles you. So luxurious! My back never hurts when I get up in the morning. I also have the memory foam pillows- the regular ones, not the contour ones. They are not for everyone, because they are fairly flat, but I just love them. My head is cradled in comfort. I highly recommend them. If you are used to a lofty pillow, or one you can scrunch up, it won't be for you, however.

For some reason, they're warm to sleep on. Too warm for me!

Everyone but me in my family wanted the pillows. So I got them for everyone. Not a single one of them likes them. Too warm and also just don't like the way they feel.

We don't like the fact that you can't easily move from one place to another because the foam doesn't recoil that fast. DH says you kind of get stuck in a hole...so we're looking for a traditional mattress...
