I've done it. Well, I'm not done, but...here is a garden bed that I have carved out of nothing. It looked way more impressive to me in person than in the pics, and I've left a bag of compost in view, but hey, I can't help but celebrate and share.

I've dug 3/4ths of the trench I'm going to fill with edging and rocks. Only that far because *whew* that wore me out!
