Last year, I heard about this "Plant-A-Row for Hunger" at a community garden seminar in my hometown. I thought it's an excellent idea to reach out and give back to the community by doing something you loved to do such as gardening!
Here's the link to learn more about this program and perhaps your community will make a section for this worthy charitable to your local food pantry for the homeless and poor.
