Our community is encouranging residents and businesses to plants pink flowers throughout the city to promote cancer awareness. I thought it's a lovely idea, not just for our community but for yours too. Grow your pink flowers by your mailboxes or designated area to show your neighborhood for support in this worthy project. It will beautified your community at the same time encouraging support for cancer survivors and memories of those that lost the battle, but knowing they're always be rememembered.
It's a great way for girl/boy scouts to participate in the community by growing these plants and help raised money for cancer research through the American Cancer Society. (Just a thought!)
