I have what I believe to be a giant majenta lily a very long lived one . I got mine from a man who planted it in the late 30's , in the 70's mine died to be replaced by 2 bulbs which I replanted in the 90's & are still growing well . The bulb is on top of the ground abour 8 inches across the bulb is green it has produced 2 bulbs one is all red & the other bulb is green . The flowers of both are red& white striped and about 30 flowers at a time on top of 1 bulb on 1 stem. It has an odor which is nice. eamusg@tampabay.rr.com
