my bermuda grass has all but died out after 35 years of a great lawn. last year I planted some type of rye in a small space that is doing great but I don't remember the name. Would like to plant something that will be hardy year round. We had a terrible summer last year (HOT) but this spring has been wet. Expecting SNOW April 14th. Whatever I planted last year spreads in clumps in random places. Our ground is sand for about 18" down then some type of clay. I would appreciate any suggestions and brand names.
