Very good article regarding plumerias. I get more and more plumerias of the same kind every year. They grow like crazy and get really long then the wind blows them over unless they're in a really heavy pot. Mine are now in pots I have to move into an enclosed greenhouse/patio with a two-wheeler each year here in San Antonio. You are much more methodical than I am. When a plumeria branch gets really long and hangs too low, I whack it off, dip it in rooting compound and immediately stick it back into one of the pots where there's some room. They almost always take root, even the ones cut from the more woody sections. My plumerias are of the white and gold variety like the middle picture at the top of your article. The scent of the flower is fantastically beautiful. I plant kalonchoe in the pots to provide a little mass at the base of the plant. Looks great.
Thanks, Cuda. I have Kalanchoes too and love them for their color. I bet yours do look great. Some cultivars, like Celadine (white/yellow), will root no matter where you stick them, and others are a little more fussy, I have found. I'm glad you move your pots with a dolly. I move pots around all the time, and I almost always hurt my back when I don't use a dolly.
