I'm in 8b and I'm just trying this plant out to see what it does. Anyone know if it needs a huge amount of water? I have a lagoon in my back yard so I may just grow it right next to the water but I don't like planting stuff there because of snakes, cottonmouths. Where I want to put it doesn't have irragation so I'm worried it won't get enough water and I don't want to be out there watering every day.
Also will this plant work in part shade or does it need full sun?
