    Hello everyone,

Is it too late to start a vegetable garden from seeds in zone 9a (Houston - TX)? If not too late what are the easiest veggies for a beginner?

Thank you so much for your help!
    Leonora.

You should be able to direct seed most hot weather vegetables, watermelons, southern peas, okra, lima beans etc. Probably still have time for summer squash and cukes.
