I want to level my upstairs bedroom floor prior to installing new flooring. I could pull up the plywood and nail onto the joists to level the floor which is a lot of work. Does anyone know of another way? Is there a resin based leveling compound I could use?
We own a two storey house, and are considering replacing the carpet upstairs. We are considering laminate. Currently with the carpet, we hear every footstep that is made upstairs (we have two teens). Will the laminate floor magnify this situation?
If so, what steps can i take to reduce the noise level?
Thanks,
Jimmy
