Will answer your questions
We're looking to replace our 1978 original furnace. We're leaning towards a Trane XV80. This house was built without A/C so we'll be adding that as well.
My question is about heat pumps vs a traditional air conditioning unit. Can you explain the differences and benefits of each?
I've been told the heat pumps are more efficient, but are also more expensive, and since they're running year 'round, they won't last as long as a traditional A/C unit that runs only in the warm months.
