My DH recieved this painting from a friend recently. We are sure it is an original. We are not familiar with the Artist and would like to know more. We absolutely love the painting!

We thought the signature, in the bottom left of the painting ,was Dean Chapman, but on further ivestigation the last name is not Chapman! it is very hard to make out!

Google up Dean Chapman, artist. I came up with info on him and it said that he did realistic paintings of indians, horses and cowboys. It is a lovely painting.

The painting is by Dean Chapman. When he signs his name, he makes the m & a as one letter. I did business with Dean many times in the past. I have one of his paintings. The painting you have was actually in my possession at one time. About two years ago, a gallery in Roswell, Ga. had a painting of his for sell.
