I've caught up a bit with all the great spring postings. After finally adding some actual plants to my rock garden late last summer and fall, I have something blooming this spring! Arabis alpina 'Snow Cap'. got it in Sept on sale for 1.10. I was absolutely thrilled to find that it lived thru the winter, and now it's blooming. good job, little arabis!

Lovely! Isn't it great when a bargain plant does well? It's like a pat on the back.

How sweet that looks, Gram. I'm so glad it survived your winter.
