We're new to farmer's markets and we're starting in a brand new FM that is going to be held on Sundays. We're taking flats of flowers, containers, and soil. We're going to sell containers with flowers and we're also promoting a "create your own" container. We're also offering a small pot that kids can plant for their moms for mother's day. We even bought florist foil to wrap the kid's pot to make it extra special for them.
Has anyone ever tried this?
We are planning on selling cut flowers this summer. The market manager wanted to make sure that people wouldn't be disappointed early in the season so she asked the vendors to make an extra effort to be there early in the season since markets around here are usually a little slow in May.
