I was so sad to read on the AHS robin that Hazel Dougherty passed away. I got to meet her husband Everett at our regional last summer. I was amazed to see all the gorgeous daylilies they have introduced besides AUTUMN WOOD, the one they are most famous for. It is with great sadness that I have been asked to let all of you know that today, Saturday morning, around 6:30 a.m. Hazel Dougherty - noted hybridizer, passed away at Hillcrest Hospice in Knoxville.
