It's now about 9 ft tall and needs replanting-an awkward thing to do in an apartment. Is there a market for these things or should I simply give it away? Thanks for your comments.

That's another specimen I've never heard about. Do you know the botanical name? if your area has a business firm that rents plants to offices, you might have a buyer. Yuska

Editing to say I found it. Euphorbia trigona. Interesting plant - would look great in an office business lobby. Would Buchardt Gardens be interested in it?

Thanks Yuska, I'll probably advertise it for sale locally and see what happens.
UBC Botanical Garden is a possibility (Butchart Gardens is in Victoria- a bit far).
