Has anyone in the Midwest noticed very few buds on their peonies this spring? Many of mine which have bloomed well for years are forming few if any buds this year. I'm wondering if it might have something to do with the weather this past winter. I live in northern Illinois and normally have beautiful peonies. I have not had this happen before and am quite puzzled (and disappointed). Thanks!
