Does alfalfa tea have too much nitrogen for bearded iris? what is the ratio? 0/0/0

Taking short mid-day break from the heat and just saw your question, jackieshar.

Alfalfa meal assays are about 3-1-2. You should feel safe using it on your iris...that's not a huge amount of Nitrogen but will help green them up and the potassium will encourage root and flower growth.
