I was just checking my email and I received an article from Women's Voices for the Earth. In the LA Times on May 14 this article was featured. Many advocates for breast cancer and the environment have been saying this for years, but the majority of professionals viewed breast cancer as a disease the majority of women out there were genetically predisposed to. Researchers are now saying, not so - some are predisposed, but environmental risks are looking more like the main problem. They say by decreasing our toxic load just a little bit, we can significantly decrease our chances of getting breast cancer. This year alone 178,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer. Most of those IN THE KNOW know that environmental factors are the culprits for most of our cancers, although not all. Man has been plagued by cancer since Egyptian times. Breast cancer does not exhist in countries where anti-perspirants are not used. The aluminum in the antiperspirant is the most likely cause of breast cancer. It is rubbed almost directly on the glands under the arms. Think about it: Why would any thinking person raise their arm and rub aluminum directly on a gland? We must become thinking people. By the way, the aluminum in cans is most likely the cause of the high rate of brain diseases in the US, altzimers, etc. Aluminum is a poison. Remove it from your home. Yes. Begin by opening your flatware drawer! Everytime you eat, you are eating aluminum with every bite! Then, take the mercury fillings out of your mouth. I'll shut up now.

    tellicovillager,

I totally agree with you. I've heard about the connection between aluminum and alzheimers. But I've been reading a lot on a possible Paraben connection to Breast Cancer. Here's the link to an article put out by The Breast Cancer Fund.
