Playing with the dog, I knocked over glass candles filled with lamp oil. They virtually exploded when they hit the floor. Glass and oil everywhere! I've wiped it up but there's a shiny, slippery film on the floor. What will clean it up without damaging the floor?
But do a small spot to begin with. Spray some on a cloth and wipe or rub a little, then follow with a plain water rinse and dry. See if the original finish is OK.
it is amazing stuff and will remove years old stains if you spray and let it work for a few minutes before wiping up. Wiping with water to remove all that remains is all that is needed - unless the item being cleaned needs some treatment that it removed.
Good luck.
Another product that is less aggressive is Mean Green. Both are available at most "dollar" stores.
I don't think so. Both are available here, but my mother introduced me to Mean Green in 1998, and a good friend (also a restaurant owner) told me about Greased Lightning.
Even the grocery stores and Lowe's cary it here. Lots of recent TV adds about it.
I removed about 20 years of cigarette smoke from aluminum window frames. Sprayed and it literally melted and ran brown/yellow streaks.
greased lightening is good stuff. my father in law sprayed his favorite chair with the simple green after a cat used it as a litter box. it cleaned the spot but took the color out where sprayed! so if you use that make sure it doesnt get on any fabric.
