Here is a comparison of a datura and brugmansia bud .. no wonder people get confused!

They haven't quite opened yet .. will be tomorrow for sure, but i can see that one of them is a cream color with a yellow picotee!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to see the pictures! Its even beautiful un-opened :-) I'm really excited about my Daturas, which are doing great- they are planted out, and the Lilac LeFleur has its very first bud.

They opened .. 1 is definitely picoteed. Well Gordon, what do you want to call this sport? It's yours to name. The real test will be the F2 and F3 generations. So far out of the 3 plants that are blooming, 1 is true to the parent 1 has yellow wiskers on the outer petals but not a picotee and the third is solid white.

Wow, my known green thump has turned, sorta jaundice! My Dats. aren't doing well for some reason. While the one I saw in my neighboring planting is growing like mad. X. your Dats. are so beautiful.

wow that is so pretty, I just planted mine a week ago so I have a long wait, that is if the weather co-operates so far our weather is like a yo yo up and down, ya never know what your goona get.
