I blame it on the loose naming of plants over the decades...how more confusing could it be...pink flamingo, pink parfait...who'd be the wiser? Quite frankly the 'real' pink parfait needs a real name, Pink Flamingo has Justicia Carnea...I had proposed Justicia Pupuraspicula, but hey, I guess I have no power to name pants ;-)
That being said, the real pink parfait is a spectacular plant and I wish it could be as widely grown as Pink Flamingo.
