I'm new to the whole Dave's Garden site, but the wealth of knowledge seems amazing!
I have an entire row (about 12 plants) of Bell Peppers that appear to be suffering from some form of Mottle Virus. I don't seem to have an aphid infestation, so I suspect Pepper Mild Mottle Virus. All the bell pepper varieties seem to be affected equally, but a couple of banana peppers planted with the bells are less affected.
The bell plants are stunted, less than 10" tall, while the banana's are about 20" tall. The leaves on the bell peppers especially are wrinkled and somewhat cupped, with some yellow discoloration. Thre are no peppers on the bells, yet. All were planted the same day (mid April), from peat-pot sets from either Home Depot or Lowes (both stores have seem to have the same supplier). The seedlings seemed to be fine, but the problem developed with a week or two of planting.
The photo at the link below is almost a perfect representation of my peppers. (I didn't attach the image directly, since it's not my picture.)
Do I have any hope for these plants? Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of getting some peppers this year? Can someone suggest a source for resistant variaties? Maybe I can replant after the heat of summer and get a crop this fall?

As a newbie, I'd like to share one tidbit that I wandered across already that I can hardly wait to try. Gardening using straw bales! Search the Vegetable garden forum for "Straw Bale Gardening" or even Google. There is a series of threads on straw-bale gardening that including growing peppers...It might be a useful alternative to containers for pepper growers that don't have space for a dirt garden.
