you guys are so wonderful! So, I am asking again for help. This is growing in full shade. It is a shrub or bush that was growing up into the very large cedar behind it. The branches curve downwards to ward the ground, and a few are reaching up/out towards the sun.

I know the pic is blurry, I have a rinky dink digital camera, but hopefully you can see the shape. Here is another pic of the leaves up close.
