Hello all! I am new here and this is my first year for Snapdragons! LOL I got a mixed color and tall variety. The problem is they are lying on the ground and are starting to get snaky or curvy stokes.
I know they need to be staked to help them straighten out, but I have no idea how to do it to get the stokes straight again!
I planted them in the back of the bed and it they done stand up they will not be seen. They are supposed to get 36 inches tall and the rest of the flowers are arranged by height as well.
Can anyone help me?

I have snaps also. Last year they did well. I pruned back the spent flowers back to the new growth half way up the stalk. But even then, when they bloomed again they were like yours. I'd either cut them WAY back to promote new, thicker branching or do what I do. I buy 4 new containers about every year to 18 months and have my bed tiered like you. I have seedlings all over, but they're thin so I move them to diferent locations. The 4 new ones grow into each other and stand tall for almost 18 mos.
Humm... Well I will try that! I staked them the best way I could figure out last night. I saw the new growth and it was straight as an arrow! LOL But the older taller stokes as fixing to bloom so I did not want to cut them back yet.
But after they bloom I will try what you do. Thanks!
I need to cut back my Salvia as well, it lost all it's blooms!
When I lived in new Braunfels near you and even down here in south Texas, I always plant mine in October or November to be sure I get to cut back twice before the first real cold comes...they really get strong and put out many more blooms.
This year i just knew I would need to stake the Rocket series...even had the stakes in place, but they did not need to be staked...just shot straight up high with deep roots
