I don't know about spray paint, but I'm pretty sure I've seen regular paint at the craft stores that you can use to do a frosted glass effect. I'd check your local Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc, if a spray paint like that exists I think they'd be the ones to have it, and if not then you can always go for the non spray paint version.

(I'd leave it clear but I prefer CFL lighting and am changing out the sockets to switch from annoying candle style bulbs to a CFL spiral bulb. Would prefer the white bulb didn't show at the street).
Krylon makes a spray paint to make frosted glass. I used it in my bathroom when I had a window in there. If you change your mind about the frosting, scrape it off with a razor blade.
