My single annual poppies alays bloom before my peony poppies. I hope to get some danish flags and black peony poppies from the seeds I direct sowed last late fall.I just sowed my poppies as a mix.always a nice surprise to see what blooms.

I had some really nice peony poppies last year, but they didn't come back this year... They self seeded, but I don't know if they winter killed or what... Next spring I'll sow some again...

The last freeze we had,killed my monkey flowers that I had wintersowed.Maybe I will have better luck next year.
