Any idea on which one it is? I have looked up Poppy seed pods, and buds, and neither look quite like this. I havent ever grown a poppy, tho I have tried LOL... is that a seed pod, or a bud? Im hoping its a bud, but it looks as tho it has bloomed already, from the star shape (sorry for the generic term) little (smaller than a pea) bud or pod that is in front of the star.
Poor thing is maybe 3 inches high, 8 inches wide, and those sure dont look like buds or seed pods that I have seen before on a poppy, tho I havent grown them, I have seen them. I have to admit, I did toss alot of seed out, including some poppy, but not in that area at all. It seems to want to sprawl, but it was hidden under bindweed, so maybe it was looking for the light LOL.
Any help would be wonderful.
