Beginner Flowers: Need more help identifying!

Author Content rprovost london (Canada) June 10, 2007 3:01 PM Post #3598892 I planted some seeds in my garden, and I've found SO many weeds, that I'm not sure whats seedlings and whats plants! I'll post a few pictures of the items... There's two particular ones I'm concerned about. This first one I thought was the chinese forget-me-nots I planted by seed, but I'm not so sure now. It has longer narrower seed leaves than the second, which has round ones. I'm pretty sure the first is the forget-me-nots I planted. I recently put a few seeds in pots to see their shape when they come up, and they look the same. The second could quite likely be a weed. As soon as I saw the comment about the dark spot in the middle of the leaf on one website, I knew it was it. I have pulled it all, and the garden is bare now, but at least not full of weeds! The good thing is that I did find some columbine sprouts that I planted months ago! I was able to sacrifice them, so they should still be okay! Thanks for all the help! :)
