I think I have figured out what to do with the 14-18 lb white plastic kitty litter containers. I can put little holes in the bottom and place one by each rose (when I collect enough) and they can get direct drip irrigation. My major rose bed is at the side of the house and they won't be an eyesore there.
Now what can I do with a couple of packages of old style clay non absorbent kitty litter?
