My comfrey is in a part shade, northwest facing side of the house. It makes a HUGE beautiful leaf mass like hosta, then sends up its lovely flower stalks which, once they reach a certain height, flop over onto the lawn. The bees don't care, but I wish it would stay up. Now, I know this is partly because of the part-shade location, but the plant is thriving otherwise (and ready for division). Would peony supports work?
