I direct sowed poppy seed from late fall to end of December last year danish flag,poppy seeds in big container.As the seeds sprouted in the spring I thinned the seedlings after 2nd leaves was developed.This is a great!way to grow annual poppies,if you have limited space.Here is a photo of danish flag poppy bloom today.
