I'm plant sitting for a co-worker. His rope plant has sections that have turned completely brown. Other leaves look like they are drying up and only a few leaves still look healthy. I noticed there is some sort of fungus on it. Looks like what my mom used to call mealey bug. Any ideas what can be done to save it?
