Hello all! I was wondering if someone could help me with a little advice regarding cold stratification. I started the process using two different species from seed, those being Japanese Maple and Chinese Juniper. After soaking the seeds overnight, I placed them in the refrigirator and mixed them in a clear ziploc bag using a sand/perlite medium. My questions are: 1. Do the bags need to be sealed completely, or cracked open at the top? & 2. I've layed the bags out flat in the refrigirator, but is it OK to stack the bags on top of eachother? Anyone's suggestions or advice would be helpful as I am just getting started with the whole Bonsai experience. Thanks and have a great day!
