I've had my floormate for about three years and it started making loud noises until one day it died completely. I was wondering if it could be fixed Looking online I found that they last about three years so figured it was time. I really didnt know how dependent I was on this machine until it broke. What did I do before??? Oh yeah, a bucket and a mop.

I like mine too but I doubt it would be worth the expense of repair. I'd have to bite the bullet and just buy another one. I am also very careful with all those plastic "parts" - not to crack or break anything.

Twin,
Thanks for responding. I did bite the bullet and replace it. I asked around first and could find noone who wanted to even attempt to repair it. There are so many new models out I was hard put to even find the original one which has all the bells and whistles I need!

Your right, all those parts do seem very breakable, but not very complicated ( I could put it together myself) and so I'm a happy camper now or at least for another three years :-) Maybe I should buy another one now in case its really discontinued in the future...just a thought...

If you got the exact same one for replacement you can save all the extra parts from the old one in case something cracks or breaks.
