Photographing the spider's web has been on my to-do list for a long time. I had seen pics in magazines and got impressed with them from the early 70s. I have always wondered how they were taken. I attended a slide show in the later 70s by a famous wildlife photographer. After the show I remember having inquired him how to take shots of spider's webs. He suggested that a flash would be necessary. I had no camera then, nor I would have thought of having one - I was a student then. Years pass. Now I can shoot the web with my digicam. This was at a distance of about 6-7 ft from the cam. I focussed at an object at the same distance then framed this shot. That's why the web is made visible!
