Heya! I thought I'd start a photo thread... I've had my plants out since the first week in June, and they're coming along well!

Here's a photo that shows most of the sweet pepper patch in the main veggie bed. This year, I'm growing 'Aconcagua', 'Bananrama', 'Carmen', 'Gypsy', 'Sweet Pickles', and a couple of bells ('Large Pepper from Plaza' and 'Big Red'). I think the 'Carmen' are looking especially vigorous, with deep green foliage and some peppers forming, but they're all coming along pretty well.

I've got 2 soaker hoses running down the length of my veggie bed (6 ft. or so in width), and there are 24 varieties of tomatoes along the back row (they've now been wrestled into cages). I mulched everything well with grass clippings that I get from a friend (we have a mulching mower and nowhere near their amount of yard)... this year, I got a bunch of clippings that were more like hay, absolutely lovely. Behind the garden strip, you can see some volunteer sunflowers and the zinnias that I seeded among our little fruit trees... you can also see the grass trying to take over again (oh, that dratted Johnson Grass!), LOL.
