I have a Tempstar central heat and air unit. One of the pipes going into the central air unit inside the house is freezing. When this happens the air conditioner quits putting out cold air. We then have to turn it off until it thaws. We have cleaned the compresser, checked the relay, and changed the filter but to no avail. The unit was installed in in 1994. We have been unable to hire someone because of our finances, but wonder if anyone has any idea of what could be causing this.
