Here's my latest piece - a stoplight parrotfish (he's not grouted, of course) and doesn't have eyes yet (they will be microbeads) and I'll do them after grouting.

I used to scuba dive and spent a lot of time on a diving trip to the Bahamas chasing them around with a camera :)

WOW That's really pretty. Reminds me of the Rainbow Fish in the children's books.

Thanks! I don't know about the kids books...I'll have to try and find a copy.

I used iridized glass, mirror glass, and a smidgen of glitter tile shards (the brightest pink).

Here is a link to the Rainbow Fish. It's a book by Marcus Pfister.

The Rainbow fish is so cute! Stoplights could be the inspiration for the Rainbow fish.

I don't know about enameling Terri, but glad you checked out the glass and mosaics section.

Wow Terri! That is awesome! Love all the different materials.

I'm lusting for a kiln so that I could learn to fuse.

Thanks ArbaStar! here is the set of 4, it took a long time they were all fired separately with a riso screen background, the tricky thing was making sure they all stayed the same colour after so many firings.
