Well.. in trying to ask the first question.. I was reading through to see if there were already some answers.. and then went to the link for JM.com and saw the nursery there.. found my question tree.. and my answer.. which allways for me has me with other questions..
I have a JM 'Oridono nishiki' it's container grown on my roof top and is now maybe 14 years old.. I was going to ask why this year it's almost all green... and I see it does loose it's varigation if fertilized too heavily... this year I did give it a good top dressing of composted and dehydrated cow manure.. ahhh my answer..
it also said there it likes shade or partial sun.. this has grown in fullsun... from 6 AM to 8 PM in the summer .. I've recently been given a shady area due to building on the roof next door
should I move it back behind their building to give it some few hours of a lightly shadded life.. or leave well enough alone.. maybe a few more questions on my other JM ..a red disectum when I can get a few pictures to go along with the question.. Thanks for the help already.. Gordon
