I just bought my first Ragin' Cajun (Ruellia). We have had rain here in Zone 7 ever since i planted it. The flowers that were already open are falling off. When all the blooms on one "branch" falls off, should i cut it to bring more flowers?
Someone please help and let me know.
Yes, you are right. Cut the branch down to a lower leaf below all the flowers, after they are done.
I have read that these are very easy to propogate. Cut a top piece of a few inches, dip in rootone and poke it right into the ground.
