On another forum's thread, I had posted that with the warm winter and sparse rains so far, my DL are looking sorry and some have even 'disappeared'. But even with all that, if weeds were prized plants, I'd have a trophy garden.

It got me to thinking, then laughing. I have had to border all my beds and plantings as my SO can't tell a weed from a prized specimen when it comes to mowing the lawn. He even ran over a fairly healthy sized Peppermint Crape Myrtle that is thankfully sending up new growths.

Made me think of asking what your best, most interesting, etc. weed and/or need-to-barbwire-around-your-plants story is...just for a laugh.
