Since I married a Baltimorean from Traci Turnblatt's (spelling?) neck of the woods in Highlandtown a few decades ago, I'm pre-biased toward what a great movie John Waters' Hairspray is - but ya gotta see it and this is to let you know that I just discovered that AMC movie house in Columbia nearby charges $5 a show in the morning (wonder if all AMC's charge $5 for morning movies?). If you see only one movie a year - this one has it all - music, dance, romance, wit, humor and relevance to some timeless social issues.
