As summer wears on, the pests that show up in our gardens have multiplied by several generations. Thanks so much for sharing the options that are available to us, and the potential impact each one makes on us, and our environment.
By showing us the options, we can each choose what methods will best suit the pest level, and gardening style that we have at the moment.
My son's daycare had a cave cricket problem last week and decided to treat it with pesticides. I tried to convince them to use an IPM method to treat this, but I wasn't entirely successful. I hope more and more people are exposed to this new way of thinking, especially since they announced last week that autism may have a possible casual link to pesticides. Thanks for the article!
I discovered that moles can be controlled by planting caster bean. I have a variety that has bright red seed pods and dark red stems. It is so pretty!. Sometimes I plant them were I do not want their large size at all and when they get to a small size I just chop them down but leave the roots in the ground. Moles do not like them, and will stay away from your flower gardens.

My Son reacted three times to a whooping cough vaccine. I complained to the doctor after his second reaction but was told I did not know what I was talking about. The third shot and reaction caused him to have a stroke and inflammation of the blood vessels (an autoimmune disease) - autism.
Fine to talk about pesticides, they too perhaps might play a role in autism in other people, but for me and my family --- including my daughter who also reacted to the whooping cough and the Hep B vaccine the health problems started and was caused by of all things !!!!! Medical treatment!
