Quite by accident, I set some seed trays (in plastic bags!) on the top of the television. It's quite warm there and it has acted as a sort of frugal heating pad.
These trays are in plastic bags so they are not going to leak water onto the tv. I put them there when I went to answer the phone and forgot them. The others are in a window, but this actually seems to work better.
