I'm not sure about you guys but I really need to vent and this is a great support group!! So, if you need, please add to mine!
As most of you know we were both students when I joined early this year. Since then, DH has graduated and taken the bar exam. He's working now but won't be paid as a real lawyer until he knows he passed, October is when the results come out. I have my last finals this week and then my associates in accounting will be done. All of those classes just to find out I don't want to be an accountant...sheesh! Now, I have to find a job (there are a few on our forum who have helped me out, Thanks!!!) and the last job I had lasted 2 weeks because the guy in charge wanted me to 'cook' a few items in the books. Nothin' doing and I took my leave pretty quick after finding a few other not so good things going on. The other prob is that I have found that I can't sit for more than 30 min. before my back starts to ache. I get disability for it but nothing near enough to help us get by! I need to go back to the VA now and see if they will do some kind of transition training into a field that allows less stress on the back. *Snarl*
So, money is pretty short on our end. While DH and I have a great marriage and, believe it or not, do not fight about it, we both know we need to move out of this area and the sooner the better! Last week, there were 2 break-ins during broad daylight next door to us and the house on the other side of them!! =0O The kids and I are home by ourselves during the week and our dog didn't so much as raise his head the day the people next to us got hit! I can shoot a gun (a marksman, I was!) but refuse to have one in the house until the kids are old enough to respect it! Not to mention we can't afford one along with the safe and other safety measures. All I can say, gun or not, Lord help the person who decides to break in here if I am home! We don't have much worth stealing either, other than plants ;0) I really am worried and upset because there isn't much we can do about any of this! These criminals are really ballsy breaking in during the day, what are they going to do next? Grrrrr!
Well, that about does it for now. Welling frustration does no good and it's too dang hot to work out the frustrations in the garden! I did buy some snapdragon seeds today though!! Maybe tonight after the sun starts going down and the kids are watching a movie...so relaxing!!
