Isn't Nelly Moser a type 2 where you prune after flowering if you need to? In this case I won't cut it all down come the spring right?
I just read somewhere that Nelly Moser should be cut back to about 18 inches every spring? Maybe it was just the author's preference - not sure. I don't remember what article it was either...
