There is clicking noise coming from the back of the tv. The noise is on the left side. The tv was working, but it was making this clicking noise and then stopped working altogether. Now when the power is on all it does is make the clicking noise. the tv will not turn on at all.
Just saw this sorry bout the delay, the clicking noise sounds like the flyback transformer is arching (this is the transformer that supplies the high voltage to the picture tube).
Not inexpensive to replace, If it was a normal size set instead of a large (probably expensive one) I would say replace instead of repair however...
