Hi There,
For the past three years I have been paying to lease a Culligen water softener, but have found that the only time it needed service was to make an adjustment that I could have made myself if a manual were available. So over the past few years I have paid a little over $700 in rental fees. Sears' top of their line water softener with bells and whistles is going for about that with a complete three year warranty service contract. My Culligen contract is up and I would like to know if anyone has any idea about if the kenmore would make more sense than re-leasing the culligen? Also living alone with erratic water usage culligens metered system has not been perfect; anyone have issues with Kenmores in the same way? Culligen will leave in the extra plumbing that I bought for installing theirs, so will installing a new kenmore at the same 'loop' be fairly easy for a person who has been able to manage their own fuacet and toilet installations? ...sorry it's a lot of questions, thanks to anyone who has some advice...
